If I had to choose between being invisible and flying, I would fly. No questions asked.

Which is why I love flowing mountain bike trails, bombing canyon roads, and ripping down snow-covered mountains.

All that hard work requires fuel. So I cook, bake, create, experiment, fail and master to my stomach's content.

But I love to build, create and design even more; whether its custom cycling jerseys or building robots to collect, sort and shoot ping pong balls.

Things that inspire me are the design of nature and bio-mimicry. Our world has some innovative solutions that have been refined over thousands of years and we can learn a lot form our surroundings.

Building the world's next big invention is great, but if it is not connected to our current environment--or at least within some standard deviation-- then it can go unnoticed and without impact. I like to dream of what could be, and where we might go, but I still like to design relevant things for where I am now.
